LIVE: 6th stage of Tour de Pologne

Complete live coverage from 6th Tour de Pologne from Oswiecim to Bukowina Tatrzanska. Another mountains on the route and 228 kilometers from start to the finish with 6 KOM of 1st category. The end of the stage once again on the top. Follow live from 13:00 CET.

18:50 - Mollema won!

18:49 - Martin is chasing. Mollema has 15 seconds advantage.

18:47 - 1 km to go: Bollema still leads.

18:45 - Bauke Mollema of Rabobank attacks. Rutkiewicz, Bazayev, Marcato and Gusev back to main group.

18:43 - Bazeyev of Astana joined them.

18:41 - Attacks from the main group. Rutkiewicz is chased by two riders Marcato and Gusev.

18:38 - 5 km to go: Rutkiewicz still on the front. Riders descent at now. Then we have only final climb.

18:37 - The chaser is closing the gap right now. 18 seconds and road down. It starts raining.

18:35 - Rutkiewicz is pushing very hard. He has only 10 kilometers to the finish line.

18:33 - Martin is in the main group.

18:32 - 12 km to go: Rutkiewicz gap`s is raising and is 36 seconds.

18:30 - 14 km to go: Rutkiewicz has more than 30 second advantage over the group of 30 riders with all GC contenders.

18:28 - This is eight Tour de Pologne for Rutkiewicz. He always aiming for GC in this race and he is dreaming about win.

18:27 - Polish rider is 7th in general and is 30 down from Martin.

18:26 - Rutkiewicz of Poland on the front. Solo attack.

18:20 - Attack of one rider.

18:18 - The breakaway is over. On the front of the race group about 60 riders.

18:14 - Riders are climbing Bukowina ascent now. The situation is very dynamic at present.

18:11 - Attack from the main group, one more time it is Impey.

18:06 - Chasers caught Izagirre and on the front we have now 7 riders with also Dmitriy Fofonow and Mirko Selvaggi, both of Astana.

18:02 - Euskaltel rider still in the front. Then chase group of 5-riders.

18:01 - 4rd KOM in Gliczarow: 1. Izagirre, 2. Hoogerland, 3. Sapa, 4. Losada, 5. Aramendia.

17:59 - The riders are diveded into lots of groups. The main is leading by cyclist from Garmin.

17:56 - Only Izagirre on the front of the race. Hoogerland is in the 2nd group of 5 riders.

17:54 - Dark clouds on the sky again but is not raining at present.

17:50 - The main group with all favourites of the race are pushing very hard and gap to the duo is still going down.

17:47 - Hoogerland, Izagirre <0:35> 5 riders <1:00> Bunch.

17:44 - Riders climb Gliczarow second time.

17:41 - Hoogerland and Izagirre in the front of the race. Small gap to the rest of the breakaway riders: Golas, Sapa, Losada, Aramendia and Hayman. Bunch is 1:30 down.

17:37 - 183 km/46 to go: Results of 3rd KOM in Sierockie: 1. Hoogerland, 2. Izagirre, 3. Losada, 4. Golas, 5. Aramendia.

17:35 - Attack from the breakaway of two riders.

17:34 - Daryl Impey (Radio Shack) is the third rider in attack.

17:32 - The advantage of breakaway is 1:30.

17:31 - It was Emanno Capelli (Footon) who need medical service but everything is fine.

17:28 - Alessandro Vanotti from Liquigas and Tomasz Marczynski from Team Poland launched. One more rider is with them.

17:26 - Attack from the bunch.

17:26 - 3:15 advantage.

17:24 - 4 KOM left. One more time riders will face Sierockie and then Gliczarow where we have moments of slope of 30%.

17:21 - The gap is falling down to 3:40. 7 riders in the front.

17:17 - It was crash on the descent from Gliczarow but nothing serious happend. Two riders need medical help, but they continuing the race.

17:16 - Khalilov is already in the bunch.

17:14 - Bunch is closing the gap to lonely Katusha rider Khalilov, while leading group has still 4:25 advantage over peleton.

17:09 - The situation on the stage: 7 riders: Golas, Sapa, Losada, Hoogerland, Izagirre, Aramendia <2:35> Khalilov <1:50> Bunch.

17:02 - Ascent to Gliczarow was so slope, that some of riders from the bunch was forced to get off of the bikes.

16:57 - 7 riders in the front. Khalilov is out and the advantage over the bunch is 3:50.

16:56 - The advantage is approximately 4 minutes.

16:53 - Results of 2nd KOM in Gliczarow: 154 km/75 to go: 1. Hoogerland, 2. Golas 3. Sapa. Sapa is still in the breakaway. It was Khalilov who losing the ground.

16:52 - On the ascent problems with going up have cars.

16:49 - Very narrow road and very hard ascent. Sapa is out of the breakaway.

16:39 - The advantage is 3:40. Riders climb Gliczarow.

16:36 - Very fast and dangerous downhill from Sieroce and we are on the base of the 2nd KOM Gliczarow.

16:34 - The advantage of the 8 riders in the breakaway is 4:10.

16:31 - 144 km/85 to go: Results of 1st KOM in Sieroce: 1. Hoogerland, 2. Hayman, 3. Golas, 4. Losada 5. Sapa

16:20 - Hoogerland is the mountain man, so probably he will be very motivated to get 1st place and 10 points to his collection.

16:17 - Road is up and the pace of the riders is down to 15km/h.

16:15 - We are at the base of 1st today KOM Sierockie. The gap to the peleton is little down: 5:05.

16:09 - The advantage of leading group: Hoogerland, Losada, Khalilov, Sapa, Golas, Izagirre, Aramendia, Hayman is 5:10. Riders in the front are on 135th kilometer in Szaflary.

16:03 - Domonique Cornu (Skil Shimano) is abandoned from the race.

16:01 - The 8 riders still are working well together, whenever the road kicks up a little.

15:58 - Bunch passed feeding zone right now. The pace in the bunch is up.

15:55 - 121 km/108 km to go: Advantage is 6:10.

15:49 - 3rd day in a row in a escape for Dutch Hoogerland. Very active ride of Vacansoleil cyclist and very beautiful fight for mountain and sprint classification. For sure he is one of the most agressive rider during 67. Tour de Pologne.

15:46 - Riders are on the half of the stage. Tha gap is rising again and is 6 minutes.

15:43 - The advantaege of leading group still at the same point - 5:30.

15:38 - Mountains still before riders. Sierockie is the first, then will be Gliczrow, once again Sierockie and Gliczarow and three times Bukowina ascent with final on the last. Who`s gonna to attack? Szmyd still is thinking about Tour win so there will be the last chance to gain time to contenders and get yellow.

15:35 - Spanish Losada is the highest in general classification and is 1:37 down from Daniel Martin.

15:31 - The advantage of leading group is 5:35.

15:21 - Two sprint finish for Hoogerland and 6 points to classification for him. It means that he get red sprint jersey right now and for sure we will see him on stage ceremony on podium in Bukowina.

15:18 - The bunch is accelerating and start closing the gap. 130 km to go and the advantage dropped to 5:45.

15:11 - About 40 kilometers to go to the first of the day KOM in Sierockie. Still 8 riders in the front: Hoogerland, Aramendia, Izagirre, Golas, Sapa, Hayman, Losada, Khalilov.

15:09 - The advantage is 6:10 at sprint line in Rabka.

15:06 - 91 km/138 to go: 2nd sprint: 1. Hoogerland, 2. Hayman, 3. Sapa - no fight on the finish sprint.

15:04 - Problems with Aramendia bike`s was caused by crash of spanish rider. Luckly for him nothing serious happend, only attrition on the right knee.

15:01 - Aramendia back to the front. Meanwhile riders passed 2nd sprint in Rabka Zdroj.

14:59 - Aramendia has problems with his bike. He will has to chase the riders.

14:57 - Advantage of 8 riders in the front is 6:20 and still going down.

14:55 - The weather is much better. The sun is shining and no grey clouds on the sky.

14:52 - The bunch start reducing the gap. The advantage is 6:30. We approaching the 2nd sprint finish in Rabka Zdroj.

14:50 - Speed in the main group is very high at now.

14:47 - The advantage is little bit down and is 6:45.

14:45 - The leading group is working very nice. Each of riders push the pace for 100 meters.

14:42 - 76 km/152 to go: Results of 1st sprint: 1. Hoogerland, 2. Sapa 3. Golas. The advantage is 7:15.

14:40 - The riders crossed sprint line in Jordanow.

14:24 - The advantage of breakaway is 7 minutes.

14:21 - 63 km/165 to go: At now we have 8 riders in front. The advantage over the bunch is more than 6 minutes.

14:16 - Chasers are closing thegap and is very close to the leading five. The advantage to the peleton approaching 6 minutes.

14:11 - Attack of Hoogerland is definitely for KOM points. He is holding mountain jersey and as he said he is very motivated to defend it to the end of the race.

14:08 - Hoogerland, Khalilov, Aramendia, Izagirre, Hayman <0:30> Golas, Sapa, Losado <3:30> Bunch

14:07 - First time in the race we have riders from Euskaltel on the front in breakaway.

14:03 - Hoogerland, Khalilov, Aramendia, Izagirre <0:50> Golas, Sapa, Losado <1:30> Bunch

14:00 - Michal Golas (Vacansoleil), Marcin Sapa (Lampre) and Albert Losado (Caisse d`Epargne) are the chasers.

13:59 - Another attack from the bunch. 3 riders are trying close the gap to the escape.

15:56 - The advantage is 50 seconds.

15:54 - The others are: Mikhaylo Khalilov (Katusha), Javier Aramendia (Euskaltel), Gorka Izagirre (Euskaltel) and Mathew Hayman (Team Sky).

13:53 - Johnny Hoogerland is there.

13:52 - They gain 35 second very fast.

13:51 - The storm is over and immediately we have attack of 5 riders.

13:46 - Because of heavy rain, the pace of the bunch is very slow. No attacks in the front.

13:40 - The riders are together. We are on 36th kilometer, 193 to go.

13:34 - It is pouring at present. Very heavy rain.

13:33 - Very dark clouds above riders. The storm is coming.

13:25 - The sky is getting more and more grey. It is going to rain probably.

13:23 - 26 km/202 to go: Situation of the race is still very clear. All together.

13:20 - Riders in the bunch. All cyclist ride together.

13:17 - Active start to the stage with numerous riders trying to go clear. Another attack, this time 3 riders.

13:16 - Breakaway of 5 riders is no longer in the front. All together.

13:15 - Martin after the puncture back to bunch.

13:13 - 5 riders jumped away. The gap is 200 meters.

13:11 - A lots of attacks in the bunch. Riders are trying breakaway but anyone can gain any distance.

13:08 - All riders together. The breakaway including Stijn Devolder from Quick Step is over.

13:05 - "I was hoping to win on Rownica, but I hadn't expected that I will wear the yellow jersey after that stage. It's a great feeling to be a leader of the race," said Martin after yesterday stage.

13:03 - 6 km/222 to go: Attack of 8 riders.

12:57 - Decisive stage today. We can expect lots of attack especiialy on the second part of the stage. Finish line in Bukowina is situated on ascent, so it will be good occaasion for general contenders.

12:56 - Depart reel.

12:54 - In mountain jersey Johnny Hoogerland from Vacansoleil. Point leader is Allan Davis (Astana) and in the sprint jersey, polish Blazej Janiaczyk (Team Poland BGZ).

12:52 - 176 riders on the start of today`s stage.

12:50 - The bunch is going to city of Oswiecim where we will have start of the stage.

12:44 - The ceremony is over. We have had one minute of silence in front of the camp.

12:43 - Shortly rider will go to toward "depart reel".

12:42 - At present the bunch are in Auschwitz-Birkenau. The official ceremony is taking place.

12:38 - Wonderful win of 24-year old Martin on yesterday stage to Rownica. Irish launched 4 km to go and anyone of contenders was able to follow him. He passed finish line solo and got yellow jersey.

12:35 - Daniel Martin of Garmin-Transitions is leader of general classification of the race and he is yellow. 12:28 - The weather is quite nice. The temperature is 28 Celsius degree and is little bit cloudy.

12:25 - Start of the 6th stage of Tour de Pologne.

12:24 - "Depart reel" is on 13:00 CET.

12:23 - 1 minute to the start.

12:13 - The schedule of 5th stage was little bit changed. Start is approximately 12:20 CET. After that riders will stop in the front of camp Auschwitz-Birkenau to pay tribute to the victims of II World War Holocaust. The 38 representants of the bunch from all will take part in 5-minut official ceremony.

Demain a l`occasion de l`hommage rendu dans de la camp Auschwitz 38 coureurs designes par la direction de l`organisation sont invites a se placer avec les quatres porteurs des maillots distinctif en tete du peleton la Liste des coureurs (voir ci-dessus).

12:05 - Distnace to go is 228 kilometers. Route is hilly again - 6 KOM of 1st category. We also face two finish sprints in Jordanow and Rabka Zdroj.
